Special Interest Days are held twice a year (usually spring and autumn) and give members the chance to meet and explore subjects in greater breadth or depth than usual. On these occasions, a guest speaker gives three lectures on a chosen topic. There is opportunity for discussion and it is sometimes possible to examine artefacts at close range.
Meetings are usually held in either the Shakespeare Centre, Henley Street, Stratford-upon-Avon or the Artshouse (Civic Hall) in Rother Street (check individual Study Days for confirmation) and include a buffet-style lunch.
Booking usually starts two/three months before the event and payment can be made by cash or cheque payable to STRADFAS. Members have booking priority although non-members may come if there is space.
See Booking Procedures page.
See Policies page for details of refunds and insurance, etc.
