Holy Trinity Church Trail
On Monday 27th March we launched our Church Trail for Holy Trinity Church.

A class of almost 30 pupils from The Willows School descended on Holy Trinity mid-morning, and had the programme outlined to them, explaining it was the first time this had been tested at the Church. Then, in groups, they used the Church Trail to find out lots of interesting information about the Church and its history. In all it took about an hour to go round the trail.

There were a number of committee and former committee members on duty, as well as the NADFAS West Midlands Church Trail organiser, and people from Holy Trinity itself. All of us were very impressed by the interest and involvement of the pupils, who were a credit to The Willows, led by their teacher Jenny Page, and others.

The pupils gave us some valuable feedback at the end which has been included in a slightly changed version. The trail will now be available in Holy Trinity for use by visiting groups of children, to make their visit even more interesting.

STRADFAS’s thanks go to Judith Dorricott for piloting the trail though a mass of treacle-like obstacles placed in her way for the last 12 months or more. It is finally launched!
